January Commander’s Message
Well, 2020 is behind us. As bad as it was, it seemed to have passed rapidly, at least for me it did. Here is hoping that 2021 is a lot less tumultuous. I would like to thank every one of our members for your tolerance with all the changes the past year has thrown at us. I also cannot let this pass without giving accolades to all those individuals that have spent so much time making sure our Post is clean and safe for all that come in.
Our December 7thPearl Harbor Remembrance Day ceremony went well and it was the first ceremony we displayed all six military service flags at our memorial. We were able to fly the sixth military service flag for the newly established Space Force.
I would like to ask for any VFW members that are interested in helping to make our Post a safe and friendly place to meet and make friends. I would like to talk with you about becoming involved in the decisions that guide our future. The only requirements are that you have an interest in making a difference and you must be a VFW member in good standing.
Again, I close with thanking everyone that has continued to support the Post. Our management and staff have strived to ensure our facility is clean and safe. However, this could not be possible without the support of our members and guests.
Thank you for your continuing support.
Richard Leister
